A120 Horsley Cross to Ramsey Roundabout Closure
UPDATE TO EMAIL BELOW - Further to my previous email on the 2 September, I am writing with an update on the planned surveys to be carried out between the locations above.
We still plan to complete this work over 1 week from Monday 13 September to Saturday 18 September between 8pm and 6am, subject to weather conditions.
Closures and diversions
Following some feedback from local residents, we have made an amendment to the westbound diversion route to mitigate disruption from HGV’s passing each other on the diversion.
Eastbound traffic will be diverted as originally planned, via the B1035 and B1352 to re-join the A120 at Ramsey.
Westbound traffic will now be diverted off the A120 at Ramsey Roundabout onto the B1353, B1414 to Thorpe Le Soken and join the B1035 to re-join the A120 at Horsley Cross Roundabout.
To help mitigate disruption further, we will also be placing some additional signs along the diversion routes reminding drivers of the speed limit and safety camera vans will be present during the works.
We would be grateful if you could circulate this to your contaCts and we appreciate your patience whilst we carry out these surveys to assess the drainage along this section of the A120.
