Bat Watch and TalkBat Watch and Talk August 2011
On Friday 12th August at 7.30pm at Little Bromley Church we had an illustrated talk by Robin Cottrill - Vice Chair of the Essex Bat Group. Robin told us about the diferent types and their fife cycle with some wonderful photos.
Following Robin's talk, we went into the churchyard armed with bat detectors. We detected Soprano Pipistrelle, Common Pipistrelle and Noctule bats.
85 People attended including many children - see the photo with most of them!
Good time had by all and usual fine refreshments
